Okay, sorry, I’ve been a bit slack about writing. Here’s a quick update of stuff:

  • The abandoned bikes were finally picked up about 2 weeks ago. I think it only took about 3 months to get rid of them.
  • I’ve reported the graffiti that appeared on the wall of Aneke Rasa on the weekend. Apparently it’s too cold to remove it now, but as soon as it stops freezing for a few days then they will come and remove it. I have also asked them to remove the pen marks from our front door.
  • Old Quarter’s music has not been getting any better or quieter. The same bloody band plays the same bloody songs every *&^%^% night. I have tried ringing OQ (which helps for the one evening) and I have rung the police several times (which helps for about 2 nights). On Sunday night we reported them to the Horeca Overlast Telefoonlijn (HOT). Let’s see if that helps on a more permanent basis.

There’s probably lots of other things, but that’s all I can think of for now. Is anybody still out there?? Oh. I’ve just looked at the blogstats, and yes, we still have readers! Sorry for the silence…

    Sorry i have not been active either.
    Anyway I still think its a shame that de Buurtregiseur did not respond on our invitation
    Maybe we should contact him again

    Sure. Let’s try again. I tend to be more lazy in winter, I suppose also because the noise is less noticeable (windows are closed, it’s too cold to hang around outside). But you’re right we should try and contact the beurtregisseur again.
